The last of the sun in Croatia 10/19

Dubrovnik, Croatia blew me and Christine away. The weather was incredible in October. It was warm enough that I went swimming in the sea - the Adriatic sea had a really high salt content and was very easy to swim in, it also contains sharks apparently.

We stayed at Villa Dubrovnik which was right on the water and about 15 minutes walk into the city centre. Apparently the city is packed with tourists during peak season but there were few to be seen in October, I guess we lucked out. There are some great restaurants and the wine from Croatia is fantastic, so much so I drank a bit too much one night and spent the next day in bed.
